NOW IS THE TIME TO BECOME A M&J SUPPLY CHAIN PARTNER…

2015 was a record year for many in the roofing industry, contractors and suppliers alike.  2016 already looks promising, however there are definitive signs that things may very soon get a whole lot more competitive.  December, January and February have not produced the full extent of orders many companies where expecting, some perhaps even relying upon having made ambitious projections.

Buttons-Mj-website-02Availability in the labour market of transient sub-contractors is always a reliable early warning signal and whilst at M&J Group we have been fortunate enough (perhaps clever enough!) to avoid having to release any labour, we have already begun receiving approaches from external labour only gangs seeking employment,

2015 saw sharp increases in material supplier overheads as they competed in the ‘personnel arena’, some of these well paid recruits are going to have to prove their mettle over the next 24 months to justify some quite extraordinary salaries.  Available finance for the education sector is likely to rapidly decrease after what may realistically be the last big round of Academy funding this April.  Uncertainty within the Brexit political landscape is likely to put a hold on many large industrial and commercial projects.  No matter which way your own particular vote is likely to go, no one can realistically project what reaction the markets may have to a majority ‘leave’ vote.

So what can we do, what should we do.  You might be surprised to know that we have no problem sharing M&J Group’s strategy with you.  First and foremost we are already ahead of our competitors in that we even have a strategy in the first place.  We are rightly proud that in 44 years of trading our company has always been ahead of the ‘curve’ in terms of proactive thinking.

We firmly believe we have identified the next big growth area in roof refurbishment, when the Education ‘bubble’ eventually bursts.  Of course we are not saying, abandon Education, this always has and always will retain a large element of the roofing refurbishment market. However, the past 5 years have been nothing short of fantastic and made a lot of very average businesses look much better than they really are.  It is unsustainable, just from a pure public spending perspective and we should all be looking for something to replace it when the money for this sector dries up.

So what is M&J Group’s strategy?  It is simple; to forge allegiances with a small tight knit group of key supply chain partners.  Work closely with our allies to create an irresistible and unique offer to the market.   Having carried out extensive research of what the various current market offers comprise of, we have got beneath the surface and scrutinised the underbelly all of the marketing hype.  We have taken the best of all of these offers and will now combine these with our own vision and that of our chosen ‘Allies’.

We have chosen the term ‘Allies’ purposefully, because this will be a war, and there will be casualties, such is the nature of a market that has over inflated its own overhead.

We want supply chain partners, that can think outside the box.  Are you, is your company prepared to look at things from a different perspective.

If you are interested in being at a party cometh ‘VE Day’, then all you have to do is contact us.  Please do not think you cannot be included, do not miss this opportunity, chose the right side now, contact us and we can make it work together.
