The M&J Group were recently involved in the installation of a groundbreaking BluRoof; the first of it’s kind in the UK.
The project took place at the University of Bristol and partnered with Alumasc Roofing Systems, the M&J Group were able to provide an innovative and groundbreaking Stormwater Management System.
M&J Groups, Steve Roche had this to say:
“It was a planning stipulation that there should be no increase in the amount of excess water that was discharged into the existing drain infrastructure, but due to the site’s location in a conservation area, planners were also adamant that there be no visible ventilation equipment or tanks used on the build. Additionally, Priory Road is subject to very high bedrock which would have meant very expensive excavation to provide hidden water attenuation.”
M&J Group are pleased to share an article written about us in the local Beds On Sunday newspaper: http://www.bedfordshire-news.co.uk/8203-M-J-Group-roofing-firm-win-award-time/story-26773278-detail/story.html
The article comes after M&J scored a hatrick with their winning project at the recent NFRC awards alongside their acheivement of the Gold Excellence (Safety in Roofing Awards). The winning project took place at Hammersmith Hospitals Neo-Natal Unit and more information can be found here.
