Project Overview

Bowmansgreen School suffered with notorious water ingress issues and lacked the image to impress Ofsted inspections. Leak pathways originated from many aspects of the building envelope, specifically located around windows and roof lights. M&J Group carried out refurbishment works to these areas during half-term to minimise disruption and now the school not only looks appealing but is also leak free.

With over 2300m2 of flat roofing re-covered, M&J Group also carried out asbestos removal, drainage works, installation of a new permanent handrail system, large scale curtain walling, window replacement, electrical works and internal decoration.

All works were managed without incident, completed 6 weeks ahead of program and under the client’s budget.
