The M&J Group are proud to announce the recent opening of Haynes Village Hall following over £100,000 of re-roofing works; completed by the team @ M&J Group in partnership with Robinson  & Hall, Chartered Surveyors.DSC_0140

The Village hall, which has recently marked its 40th anniversary underwent a £100,000 make-over, with a large element of the works involving the installation of a brand new roof.

The refurbishment programme has seen the multi-purpose hall, in Haynes, get a new roof, windows and other construction work to protect the fabric of the building.

Haynes Parish Council chairman Richard James said: “The Village Hall is the community hub for Haynes residents of all ages, and also generates many visitors from outside the area through a varied programme of events plus commercial bookings.”

“The renovation work aims to ensure that the Hall can maintain this role for the foreseeable future.”

The hall was officially re-opened by Roger French OBE DL, chairman of the RSSB at Haynes Park, which made a significant financial contribution to the project.

The works were of significant importance to the local residents as it is home to many local clubs and houses a fully-equipped stage to host a number of theatrical and musical productions. It is also a popular venue for weddings and parties, and host the annual Haynes 100 car event.
